Originating from Hawaiian word for "strike" or "hit", our Striking Tapa print infuses inspiration from the traditional Polynesian tapa cloth made by beating mulberry tree bark into paper thin fabric. Tapa is also characterized by its repetitive geometric patterns, which were often motifs representing the seas, the mountains, marine and animal life. This style is cut and sewn in durable woven cotton broadcloth with the reverse side of the fabric facing outward, which creates a softer appearance. Features a full button front with pattern-matched chest pocket. Proudly made in the USA.
Our size chart and measuring tips will help you order the correct size. If you don't have a tailor's measuring tape on hand, simply use a ribbon or piece of string and line it up against a ruler.
